In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF's 65th anniversary, the Ministry of Defence and RBAF held the Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony was held at the Royal Mausoleum, 22nd May morning.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The ceremony was part of the religious activities held in conjunction with RBAF's 65th anniversary, with the celebration's culmination to be held on the 31st of May.
